Artist's Description
"North Head Lighthouse" is one of three (so far) Washington State lighthouses that I've completed. Located just two miles north of Cape Disappointment Lighthouse at the mouth of the Columbia River, near Ilwaco, Washington, it serves as a sister lighthouse to Cape Disappointment, allowing mariners approaching from the north to see a beacon. This rendering was completed using a combination of stroke work and pointillism.
