"Gracie" was a commissioned portrait, with a history and one of my favorite subjects. If you check out the other cat portraits in my gallery, except for "Chin Shu", they are all various poses of Gracie, and she is actually a member of my sister-in-law's household. Hence, all of the portraits, but that's not all of the history. There was a new dog added to their family at about this time, name of Lucy, and featured in the "Best Buddies" portrait with Gracie.
