"Boots" is a portrait of our Shetland Sheep Dog, or Sheltie. I tried to capture some of the softness of his coat by using pencil, or graphite, rather than ink. I think I heard that Shelties are barkers by nature, but Boots takes the cake. He barks at everything, even planes flying overhead at 20,000 feet.
