Artist's Description
Original rendering in ink, using stippling, or pointillism technique. Located just twenty minutes east of Troutdale, Oregon, in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Multnomah Falls is the second-tallest year-round waterfall in the nation. The water of the Falls drops 620 feet from its origin on Larch Mountain. Unusually cold weather can freeze the plummeting water into a majestic icesicle. There are two ways to get to the falls: Interstate 84 east and the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway.
